ethicaledge website launches October 7th 2011

I’m thrilled to announce that the new ethicaledge® digital charity recruitment website has launched at www.myethicaledge.co.uk.

I developed the ethicaledge® recruitment service to help connect digital and social media specialists with amazing charity jobs. I hope you will find the service useful if you’re looking for a charity communications job and you have some or all of the following experience:

  • Digital Marketing, Fundraising & Communications
  • Social Media
  • Web Design & Analytics
  • Online PR
  • Multi-media
  • SEO

You won’t find a jobs board on the ethicaledge communications recruitment website because I prefer to connect personally with prospective candidates. Jobs will appear from time to time on this blog, and on Twitter, Facebook and on the main charity jobs boards.

The feedback so far has been fantastic. I’ve had lots of great comments about the unique design, great illustrations and the fresh approach that’s unlike any other charity recruitment site. I worked with ethical website designer Anna Celeste Watson (who also designed this blog) and illustrator Stu Jones who have done a fantastic job bringing my vision to life. Thanks guys!

Welcome to my new blog for all things charity October 3rd 2011

This blog is an insider’s view about all things charity, but particularly charity careers, communications and campaigns.

I’ve spent many years recruiting staff for charities, and I’ve helped hundreds of people to get a paid or volunteer job in the charity sector. And as a communications specialist who’s worked with charities and ethical business, I’ve also advised and mentored people about how to get their comms, campaigning, lobbying and fundraising messages out to customers, supporters and donors. There’s more about me here if you want to know why I’m a passionate advocate for all things charity.

There will be interviews with some of the charity sector’s leading lights, guest posts, and insights into some of the hottest communications campaigns. It would be great to know what you’d find useful so make sure you leave your comments here!
